Any good and sensible advice for dealing with stretch marks?

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have really sore stretch marks, help! I've tried using coco butter but I dont think it makes any difference at all. Body butter is good but leaves you feeling like your clothes are sticking to you. Any suggestions?Any good and sensible advice for dealing with stretch marks?
sorry to break the bad news but stretch marks are virtually impossible to get rid of. these creams promise all kinds but like u say dont really work. you say they are red, well they will definetly fade in time and become less noticable. i really wouldnt worry about it, most people i know fat or thin have stretch marksAny good and sensible advice for dealing with stretch marks?
hey hun...i know it might not seem like the coco butter is working cause you are still seeing some stretch marks (and you will see some no matter what you use) but it really does help give the skin more elasticity....i found this out when i didn't use any and my twin sis did....i have twice as many stretch marks as she does due to that but i was and am still proud of mine...call me crazy but i look at them as battle scars and believe me ....when you carry a baby full term you have earned em'! lol....so love the skin your in hun....after all...those stretch marks are just another small part of the little miracle your gonna bring in this world....love daisy
mother care do a good stretch mark lotion, i used it and it was very soothing.......
patrolium jelly during pregnancy will stop them being sore and itchy.

after try bio oil it really does work in making stech marks fade expencive but deffinatly worth it .
Unfortunately stretch marks are a genetic and hereditary thing, u cannot stop them if you are one of us unlucky ones! However as a mother of 5 and a ''sufferer'' i can promise you that all the so called ''stretch mark creams'' are purely a money making scam....but...bio oil is very very good at preventing them from worsening and continued use after the birth will really help them fade away to be almost unnoticable, and also time will fade them till u forget them. Dont worry babes ur are one in a million and certainly not alone! Good luck with the little one xxxxx
Just sigh and resign yourself to them!!
Use coco butter--every day all day. Trust me it works! It may not seem to--but it will leave you with no stretch marks or defiantly a little less stretch marks then you would have had. And don't scratch them if they itch--it makes them worse!
I used coco butter lotion everyday, twice a day during my pregnancy and i still got bad stretch marks on my belly, thighs, legs and breasts. I have read many articles on stretch marks and they said that no matter now promising adds are or what others say these creams DO NOT reduce or prevent stretch marks. Some women get them and some women don't. I wish you the best of luck as i hate my marks.
Everyone is different but myself and a few friends have found that Bio-Oil is good for reducing stretch marks and itching. Cocoa butter really is good, i know it may not feel good having your clothes stuck to you but it really does do good, i went through about a tub every 1-2days during my pregnancy and it stopped the itchin but you do have to reapply it all the time
I used Bio Oil, and i only got one tiny little stretch mark, but its good for existing ones too, it was eight pounds from boots, but the bottle lasts for ages.
i used coco butter 3 times a day when i was pregnant (body shop ) no stretch marks
i used bio oil
When I was pregnant, I used vitamin E oil. I would put it on right out of the shower, and lay around naked in my room until it dried a bit.

Also, take showers with less hot water. The hot water makes your stretch marks itch and get sore alot easier. Try to take a bath in a little above lukewarm water. That's the only thing that genuinely made me feel better.

Hope it helps!
bio oil!!!
Bio oil is supposed to be good, it's about 拢8 a bottle.
try rubbing cement in,it works a treat!!!!
i am pregnant also. try these

get the cocoa butter formula for stretch marks in pregnant ladies

take a warm shower or bath, rub the lotion on your moist skin, don't let it dry out before you put it on. After putting on the lotion wait about 10 minutes for your body to air out before putting on any clothes.

or you could use mineral oil, it really helps. cocoa butter formula didn't work for my friend and she uses mineral oil and she had twins.
try bio - oil it really works and makes the skin lovely and soft you can get it from boots at around 拢8.95 - but it does honestky work

good look with the rest of ya pregnancy
i use lubriderm shea %26amp;cocoa butter and i only have a fews marks loved the way it felt
Keep doing what you are and sit back and enjoy. Stretch marks are badges of honour... so are c-section scars and baby spit on your shoulder. (((smile)))

.
add a little baby oil to your bath and when your dry rub some more into the affected areas, it also helps prevent the stretch marks getting any worse
The best thing you can use is Bio Oil, it is an oil based product and it is really good for scars, stretch marks, etc. It costs 拢7.95, but it will last your forever, well almost.

Follow the link and have a read.

I'm 33 weeks pregnant and i use palmers cocoa butter and i haven't any stretch marks yet! I think all the creams do is moisturise your skin which helps to elasticate the skin which can only prevent stretch marks. As you have them already iv'e heard bio oil is good it helps fade stretch marks and scars although it is expensive. Good luck xx
