I want to know the best way to complement these two workouts. I usually do 2 upper body lifting sessions each week (1 day push, 1 day pull). Should I leave one day of rest in between swimming and lifting? I have heard that swimming will speed recovery and I have also heard that it will tear down muscle as well? Help!Can anyone advice me on mixing swimming with lifting?
you don't need to rest in between
but, once or twice a week, take a day of rest where you don't do either
