It's hard to tell. Just go with your gut.
Try getting several opinions before making a decision. You'll have to use your own judgement to some extent; but you'll increase the chances of getting it right.
When something just doesn't sound right, or sounds too good or too easy to be true. You can also always get a ';second opinion';.





You really should take personal advice from other people with a grain of salt, at least until you've further investigated it. Don't be rushed into following it. Even well-meaning people can give bad advice.
