After washing your mini blinds and putting them back up. Wipe them with a fabric softner sheet. I prefer Bounce and what this does is it puts a protective film on them and the dust doesn`t cling to your blinds! Sweep your floors once a week for every person who lives in your house (i.e. if you have four people living in your house, your floors should be swept/vacuumed four times a week).
A place for everything and everything in its place.
Everyone should pick up after themselves.
I'm not sure who I'm quoting however it will never apply more anywhere else. AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION IS WORTH A POUND OF CURE.
ex. Dont stack things against house it draws moisture.
Clean gutters at least once a year.
