I need advice on spending money for a holiday?

I'm 18 and going to Ibiza in June 2010, it will be my first holiday with my mates so have no idea about spending money.


We are going to San Antonio in Ibiza for 10 days and staying at the Ibiza rocks hotel.





How much do you think we are going to need each for spending money?


We fly on the 30th June. Thanks for any advice.


Also if you know anything about Ibiza could you give us some tips for where to go and what to do? Thanks again.I need advice on spending money for a holiday?

First of all you need to eat. So, if the hotel provides breakfast forget it, you wont be up.





So put away 拢50 a day for eating out.





Gigs and clubs. 拢50 a time entrance.





Booze and soft drinks 拢50





Taxis 拢50 a day.





so That is 10 days X 拢200.





Take off three days in bed with a hang over





That is 10 X 拢200 - 拢600.





Then deduct two days food because you can not face it 10 X 拢200 - 拢600 - 拢100 then two days when some one else pays for the taxi.





Oh just take a grand.I need advice on spending money for a holiday?
Ibiza is far from cheap. That's how they manage to cope through the winter when the clubs close.





It depends on what package you have gone for. All inclusive, self catering half board etc.





Clubs are rather expensive to get into, and the drinks are not exactly cheap either.





When i went with my mates for 10 days like you i took 拢1,500 with me. Although i didn't spend it all so about 拢1000-拢1,200 is about right i think.





Ibiza is an amazing experience and depending on what sort of clubs your into i have a few bits of information.


Foam parties are excellent- Head for Amnesia


Water parties- Es Paradis


Largest club- Privilege


Eden- The most popular club





Most clubs provide buses so you don't have to worry about getting home etc.





I'm pretty sure your day will revolve around recovering from the night before, something to eat and hitting the clubs again till 6am. Have an awesome time, just keep your wits about you!
San Antonio Bay is full of teenagers, you will need about 拢1000 to spend if you want to enjoy yourself. check out www.ibizarocks.com Prices for drink and food are expensive because of the euro, 5eu per drink, just under 拢5 and burgers are about 6eu.
Ibiza isn't cheap and the clubs aren't cheap to get in to.





I would say to have a good time then you'd need about 拢1500 each.
Try not to spend any money. Sponge off your mates.
