Can adolescent Indian students expect advice from teachers regarding emotional problems and family matters?

Can teachers be friends? Is non-academic advice from teachers accepted by students?Or does that become interferance? Can adolescent Indian students expect advice from teachers regarding emotional problems and family matters?
some teachers could be expected but not all. teachers ought ot be friendly and of help to their students for friendly councelling but most of them r not. any advice either by teachers or others shud normally be given when sought. giving advice on ome's own initiative can be considered interference. advice is advice only and its acceptance depends on the person (student) getting it.Can adolescent Indian students expect advice from teachers regarding emotional problems and family matters?
Why to seek advice from teachers. Being an adult, the best way is to start thinking on his own, friends or family. Teachers always says that good things to be done. Not practical things.
Likewise , the teacher should be concerned about the holistic well being of his/her students. That is what true education is all about. The student as a TOTAL PERSON.
yes, some teachers are good listeners and they give good advice.Go to the nice teacher,no the mean ones.
Well quite no. Firstly a frnd for indians is of same age. look teachers can give advice but can never be friends in the view of students. A teacher is the only one who gives advice. Be friendly till a limit otherwise they may misuse the teacher
ADOLESCENT INDIAN STUDENTS CAN SURELY GET ADIVSE FROM THE TEACHERS FROM WHOM THEY TRUST. SOFT, CARRING, DELICATED, SWEET, NICE TEACHERS ARE ALWAYS STUDENT'S BEST FRIEND
If you ask then its ok. If its volunteered by the teacher i would be wary.
In England teachers often advise their pupils on emotional matters and counsil them.
