What do I put in an overnight bag for a 7 months old going to an out of town wedding? Any additional advice?

Will be travelling by plane for a wedding and staying overnight.

A spare outfit for yourself %26amp; the baby that is suitable for a wedding (including shoes) just in case your little one decides to be sick over you. Lots of nappies, a soft toy and blanket that your little one is used to and any medicines that you may need, and lots of spare muslins to hand out to people at the wedding who want to have a cuddle with your little one so that you can have a bit of a break and relax a bit more.

Oh yes, and your car seat! Have a good trip %26amp; wedding. What do I put in an overnight bag for a 7 months old going to an out of town wedding? Any additional advice?
All the same things you'd regularly pack in a diaper bag, just a lot more of them. Quiet toys that will keep him/her entertained during the plane ride and wedding that won't disturb other people. Something to chew on or drink while the plane is taking flight and landing, to help him/her with the change in altitude. Like a biter biscuit, teething ring, or a pacifier or a bottle/sippy.
Pack more clothing that you expect baby to need, and less of everything else.

I see some women with babies travelling for 1-2 days packing like they are heading for a 3 month expedition to the South Pole.

Remember that you CAN buy stuff like diapers, babyfood and formula at yoiur destination if you have to.

So pack about 3 more outfits for baby (and one more for you) than you expect to need. Pack enough dipes (and 1-2 extra, in case of delays) to get you where you are going. Or, if you have room in your luggage, pack enough for the whole trip. (So you don't have to buy an entire package of dipes for one day.)

If you are formula feeding, pack enough formula and bottles to meet expected need. If you are breastfeeding, pack your breasts....

Beyond that -- carseat, stroller, sling, a few toys, sippy cup if he uses one, a few jars of babyfood, pack n' play if you don't co-sleep and the hotel doen't supply a crib.
